Subject: Special keys on Macbook keyboard

Is there anyone who knows which are the corresponding keys on the macbook keyboard for some special keys that are quite important in using the notes client?
Specifically i would need to know how to:

CTRL-BREAK
for stopping notes from doing something (like trying to contact a non responding server, or opening a view too big, or uploading a file attachment when using a slow wan connection and so on

INS
for toggling read/unread messages in the inbox folder
